Kuzhanthaigal Kodai Kondattam - 2016
TYCL & MUGHIL has a tradition to organize leadership and summer camps for children and youth in the Community with various emerging themes. This year also we plan to organize a summer camp for children with the theme of “TOWARDS INTER-GENERATIONAL TRANSFORMATION OF TRADITIONAL KNOWLEDGE” in Pondicherry University.
This camp will help the children to understand the importance of our tradition. This camp will also focus on active engagement of children with themselves, peers and elders, with many activities for transforming traditional values. This will help them in exploring different art forms and to analyze new perspectives about our tradition.

Objectives
• To make children informed about the importance of traditional values
• To demonstrate children and youth about the importance of traditional medicines
• To provide an opportunity to learn from the life experiences of the previous generations
• To sensitize children and youth with traditional life and importance of poetry
• To provide opportunity to understand the importance of peer action and learning in a traditional method
