Pondicherry Equestrian Challenge 2016 @Auroville

The Pondicherry Equestrian Challenge 2016 (PEC), hosted by Red Earth Riding School, Auroville, and powered by Equestrian Promotion Private Ltd. (EPP), will take place over the course of two weekends: 26th, 27th & 28th February and 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th March. The show aims to raise the standard of equestrian events and provide a platform for a new level of competition in India.
During the show, high-calibre international and national riders from clubs all over South India will compete in dressage and show jumping.
JUMPING:
Each day, riders will have the opportunity to test their jumping skills—and those of their horse—on jump courses of varying height. The weekend will culminate with the Petit Grand Prix and Grand Prix events, technical courses which will present the horses and riders with some of the tallest jumps in the competition.
 DRESSAGE:
On Thursday, 3rd March, with the International Dressage Development League (IDDL) competition. Riders will perform prescribed dressage tests, which will be judged by an international FEI (Fédération Equestre Internationale) judge who is traveling throughout the five zones of India to judge riders performing these tests so as to compile the results together to give India-wide results. These tests will take continue into Friday morning as well.
The competing teams will come from Pondicherry, Chennai, Bengaluru, Coimbatore and Tiruppur.
